Kakheti is a region located in eastern Georgia. It is impossible to mention Kakheti and not be reminded of Kakhetian wine. Kakheti is a wine country, it occupies a special place in the production of Georgian wine. About 200 wine varieties are described in this region. Especially popular varieties are Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Kakhetian Mtsvane, Khikhvi and Kisi.

In the morning, we head to Kakheti region and start the tour: Our first stop is Sighnaghi - one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Georgia, referred to as a "City of Love". Sighnaghi serves as a popular tourist destination due to its location at the heart of Georgia's wine-growing regions, as well as its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Located on a steep hill, Sighnaghi overlooks the vast Alazani Valley, with the Caucasus Mountains visible at a distance.

Next, we visit Bodbe and its Monastery of St. Nino of IX-XVIII centuries.
Gurjaani
Afterwards, we go to Gurjaani and visit a local wine cellar. Here you will have a home-made wine degustation and lunch. You will also have a possibility to take part in a masterclass - making Churchkhela - a traditional Georgian delicacy made of nuts, Georgian "snickers". During lunch, you can taste the unique local cuisine.
Tsinandali
After lunch, visit to the Tsinandali Palace - a museum complex of the famous Georgian poet of the XIX century, Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. Here you can take a walk in the beautiful garden, visit the winery and taste the local wine.
Finally, we return to Tbilisi.
