Walking tour in Kutaisi

We start the walking tour in the morning. After Meeting at your hotels, the first stop is the Central Square and you will see the Colchis fountain. Here guide tells about the history of Georgia and Kutaisi. After taking pictures group goes through the central garden where there are a statue of Sisters Ishkhnelebi, and a memorial of "9 April". Then we stop at the Kutaisi opera house located in the garden. Afterwards, we see the labor monument right next to the garden and go to the 3rd public school which was a gymnasium for girls in 19th century. Then we visit Mon Plaisir arch and its beautiful territory. Next, we move further to the public school N1 which was the former gymnasium for boys. Next stop is the Park of Love and the Golden Marquee palace - a part of the former palace of the kings. Afterwards, we visit the White Bridge, see a statue of a boy with hats and take photos. Here the first part of the tour ends.

After a White Bridge, we go to the local Green Bazaar of Kutaisi for shopping. Here you can buy Georgian traditional food and snacks like Georgian cheese, spices, Churchkhela, dried fruit etc. After shopping we have two destinations left for the tour - Catholic and Jewish districts. We move through these districts and you gain all the information and history about them. The end of the tour.
